Salg is a solo consulting practise run by Hakon Dammen, supporting technology, software and consulting companies with scaleable and resilient growth.

Behind Obsolete Consulting™

Earlier in his career, Hakon would start a new job by setting targets for what he would like to achieve in his time with that company. Over time, this process boiled down to three questions:


  1. How can I replace myself with processes and people better than me?
  2. What knowledge or resources would I need in order to achieve this?
  3. If I gain access to the latter, how quickly can I accomplish the former?


Obsolete Consulting takes an approach to consulting whereby consultants actively seek out opportunities to make themselves obsolete to their customers by equipping these organisations with processes, resources and the know-how to navigate their continued growth journey .
